Ava has continuously been a popular name since the early 2000's! In spite of that, I only know one little girl named Ava. My cousin's little girl is named Ava Elisabeth. 

Even though I have never met anyone else with this name, I hear the name Ava all the time when celebrities name their little ones.  Some of these stars include Reese Witherspoon, Melissa Strickland, Martina McBride, Heather Locklear, Keanu Reeves & Eli Manning. I think that the trend in Hollywood has been part of the reason that this name has gained a spike in its popularity, rising to #3 in the US in 2016.

To me Ava is the perfect simple yet charming name, but it is also intriguing because of its foreign flair. If you are not a fan of such a short and simple name, I think that Ava is the perfect name that you could create a double barrel name with. Some of these options could include Ava-Grace, Ava-Mae, Ava-Rose, Ava-Reece or Ava-Kate.
