This baby girl name really came about in the 1990's and peaked in 2010! There are many variations in how to spell this name including Macy, Macey, Macie, Maysie and even Maceigh. I actually like all the variations of spelling and think that they all render the true uniqueness of this name. 

I first heard this name on the tv show Teen Mom  and I thought that it was very unique and pretty! It sort of reminds me of the name Mason which I also really like. However, sometimes when I hear this name it makes me think of the department store. So, I am not sure that this is a name that I would ever use, but I think that it is very sweet.
