The name Rory has grown in popularity and is now used for both boys and girls. The name Rory is the most popular in Scotland, England and Wales. The name ranks in the top 100 in England and Wales but is seldom used as a girl name there. I personally like the name for both a little girl or little boy, but today I am sharing it as a boy's name.

To me, Rory is the name of a little boy who is very smart and imaginative. I even picture him having glasses. Rory is the perfect name to be used as a nickname for more traditional names like Richard or Roger. It can also stand alone and be a given name as well.

This baby girl name really came about in the 1990's and peaked in 2010! There are many variations in how to spell this name including Macy, Macey, Macie, Maysie and even Maceigh. I actually like all the variations of spelling and think that they all render the true uniqueness of this name.

I first heard this name on the tv show Teen Mom and I thought that it was very unique and pretty! It sort of reminds me of the name Mason which I also really like. However, sometimes when I hear this name it makes me think of the department store. So, I am not sure that this is a name that I would ever use, but I think that it is very sweet. What do you think of the name?

Name of the Week

Melissa Joan Hart named her son Tucker McFadden Wilkerson in 2012 and it caught my attention right away...

I cant decide if I would use this name or not, but I do think it is a perfect combination of a modern name that is still very strong! I do love the name, however I have found that there is a lot of dogs named Tucker and now when I hear it I automatically associate it as a dog name rather then a baby boy name. If any of you have followed Kaitlyn Bristowe or Shawn Booth's Snapchat or Instagram story then you are well aware that that they lovingly call their pup Tucker Doodle.

Meredith is one of those old school names that I adore, simply because of how feminine and rare it is! I think that this is a very gentle name would be a perfect moniker for your sweet baby girl.

Some of you may have heard this name on television either because of characters like Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy or Dr. Meredith Fell from Vampire Diaries. I believe that is was also a characters name on shows like Teen Wolf, The Office and Pretty Little Liars. Meredith is currently ranked number 531, however due to the increase in use of this name in popular culture I think that name may increase in popularity in the upcoming years.
