I actually first saw this name on a mailbox outside of someone's house as I drove by. I am not sure if it was their last name, but it caught my attention right away. I thought it sounded like a very cute and creative name for a little girl. It sounds like a combination of the traditional names Taylor and Kayla. 

I searched for more information about the name online before sharing it on my blog and I have come to realize that this name is actually more common than I had anticipated. The name Tayla is a name of English origin and it is used mostly in English speaking countries. Ranking in the top 100 names for a baby girl in Australia! WOW!
