Scottie/Scotty is a common nickname for the masculine name Scott. I like that Scottie is a name that is underused as a name for a baby girl. I heard this name about a year ago when a friend of a friend named her baby Scottie and it caught my attention right away. Since then I have heard that this name has been used on The Descendants.
